TL DR: What I have heard from basically everybody who has tried it is "don't buy this until it fully releases, it isn't ready" but I haven't heard anything much at all lately so I dunno how it's going in the later stages. I'm guessing the changes were an improvement but I don't know personally as I haven't played it - I'm waiting til it comes out, and seeing how buggy it is then.Įarlier on in the Early Access phase, I think the "not feeling as special" just stemmed from it being kind of barebones and not really featuring a lot of new stuff. AFAIK they basically scrapped everything and restarted and this was after the game came out for purchase. They have changed a lot of stuff in Below Zero, there was a total rehaul on the story because the devs didn't like the direction it was moving in. Subnautica was a good game when it FULLY released, but was still unacceptably buggy. The game is in Early Access but personally I don't think that's any excuse - you release a game, you're selling it for money, it's a product so I'll review it as it is. Kinda depends on when one played it I think. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
